Girl Grow!

Have you felt a tug on your heart, a longing to draw closer to God? Perhaps you've been questioning your own worthiness and qualifications for the call He has placed upon your life. Today, I want to encourage you with a simple message: Girl, it's time to grow! As we read Exodus 3:13-15, let us discover the profound significance of God's response to Moses and how it relates to our own journey of faith.

If you've been following my blogs, you know that I find great inspiration in nature. It is through nature that God often reveals Himself to me. Just as we can witness the breathtaking beauty of creation, we also witness the character of God. In Exodus 3:13-15, God revealed His nature to Moses through a burning bush, calling him to lead His people. Yet, Moses hesitated and made excuses, questioning his ability to fulfill such a monumental task. In response, God declared, "I AM, THAT I AM."

“I AM, THAT I AM" signifies Jehovah, the eternal and all-sufficient God. It means that nothing exists without Him. This name is everlasting, to be called upon from generation to generation. Like flowers turning toward the sun to bloom and grow, we are called to turn our hearts toward Jehovah, fixing our eyes on Him. In doing so, we acknowledge that He is our source of life, our sustainer, and our guide. It is through our connection with Him that we find strength, hope, and purpose.

Sisters, I may not know the specific call God has placed upon your life, but I am certain that if you remain connected to Him, it will bear fruit. Anything connected to Him MUST grow. In times of uncertainty or stagnation, it may seem like you have been buried. But what others fail to see is that you are rooted in a source that demands growth. This is why we can also call Him the Resurrection! When we are connected to Him, every stagnant area of our lives is awakened and propelled forward.

As we meditate on Exodus 3:13-15, let us embrace our identity in God. Let us recognize that we are rooted in the One who declares, "I AM, THAT I AM." Through our connection with Him, we are empowered to grow, to flourish, and to fulfill the call He has placed upon our lives. Trust in His faithfulness, dear sisters, and remain steadfast in your pursuit of Him. May your hearts be turned toward Jehovah, finding strength, purpose, and transformation. Remember, you are deeply loved, uniquely gifted, and destined to grow in Him. Embrace this season of growth and walk confidently in the path He has prepared for you.
